My parents are trying to decide if they should change their electrical heating system to a radiator system, since the electrical bill is going sky high. The problem is the lack of radiators and pipes.
Me: Get a quote from a plumber.
DM: You don’t think I can do it myself?
Me: You need pipes all around the house, first of all that’s a lot of pipes. Secondly you don’t know anything about pipes. Call a plumber!
DM: Do you think my brother can do it?
Me: I love him dearly but DO should never be anywhere near electricity or water.
DM: But this is pipes, not electricity or water.
Me: And what are inside the pipes?
DM: But that’s later, when it’s finished.

Cordless Keyboard
DM: My keyboard has stopped working
Me: Have you checked the batteries?
DM: Which batteries?
Me: The one you put in when we connected it the first time.
DM: Does in work on batteries?
Me: Yes, same as the old one.
DM: But this one is cordless
Me: And it needs batteries, how do you think it gets its power?
DM: Through the air somehow, I don’t know. The computer sends it. It’s cordless.
Me: It runs on batteries, change them and it starts to work again.
DM a little later: I can’t find the batteries…
Me: Have you looked underneath?
DM: Underneath the computer? Not on the back?
Me: Underneath the keyboard!!!
DM: But it’s cordless
